This Hakuro Nishiki Dappled Willow live shrub brings bright, changing color to outdoor spaces with fast-growing foliage that emerges soft pink, then shifts to creamy white and green for a dappled look through the growing season. It reaches about 6 to 10 ft tall and wide, depending on pruning and training, and gives you flexible planting options as a landscape shrub or as a small ornamental tree. Its upright, rounded habit adds shape and contrast in garden beds, borders, and near water features. This deciduous plant grows in full sun to partial shade and performs best in consistently moist soil. In winter, the bare stems continue to add visual interest after the leaves have dropped.
- Includes 1 live shrub tree from Pennington in a 3 gal pot for outdoor planting.
- Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 4-9.
- Works well in border and edge plantings where foliage color and texture can stand out.
- Responds well to pruning, which helps maintain the shape you want as it matures.
